I bought one of those fake hair ponytails. Its slightly differebt than my own hair color. Can I dye it or will it be destroyed if I do??

If it is truly "fake", as in a synthetic hair product.... No, you cannot color/dye this "fake" hair. You will only waste your time and money trying as the color will not penetrate the synthetic material.
If you are chooing this for a special event and require a closer match to your own unique color, seek the advice of a pro. A salon professional may be able to create a solution for you using natural hair extentions as either a temporary or semi-permanent style. Natural hair extentions (usually come in various lengths) can be colored to match and heat styled.

it depends. In general, most of the time natural is better. dyed blonde hair doesn't look good with dark brown or black roots showing and sometimes hair can look fried from coloring and you can have bald spots from bleaching it too much. but sometimes people do look better when they dye their hair.

No you can not dye no fake hair because the hair will fall out because of the chemicals and it's not human hair but if it is you can

Hummmm, I'm not sure but if it's you know a weave then mabe you should find some hair in the color of your choice!

Synthetic hair, NO!!, fake 100% human hair YES! you can do anything with fake human hair that you can do with your own hair.

if you have blonde hair this will naturally get bleached by the sun in the summer. There has been this guy in my class who else had golden blonde hair that has been a medium brown near the bottom part. When he came back to college after summer vacation, it was practically platinum blonde!

Jet black hair. I have actually dark brown hair and I think dark hair looks better. I don't really like blonde hair.

ITS PROBABLY SYNTHETIC hair, dont waste your money dying it.. its not worth it and will most likley damage the hair
