Faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour is the KEY to life. Without choosing this, you will not receive eternal life in heaven! Christ said that He was the Truth and the Life. No one will come to the Father, except through faith in the Son.
Faith is trusting the Lord with absolute certainty of an unseen God and obedience to His commands. It is the absolute assurance of things hoped for, making hope real. It is the absolute conviction of things not seen. When Christ returns, He will be seen, and the hope that faith can save you will be gone.

Faith is an odd concept... I don't put blind trust into anything, that is foolish.
Faith is not proof of anything. When you use the word "faith", you're admitting that the assertions you are accepting by faith cannot be accepted on their own merits. You need something extra. You need something above and beyond the evidence to make it true. Anytime someone uses the word "faith," it's a cop-out.

Ultimately you need faith in something. As a Buddhist I have faith that Buddha got it right. the other alternative is Secular Humanism which has a good set of working principals for living a fine upstanding life.

Faith is blind. This is the beauty upon acquiring faith. It's not what you believe in, it's how you choose to up-hold your faith and decision.
For example, There are two stools which you can choose to sit on. One stool only has two legs. Therefore, its off balance and you already know that you will immediately fall once you sit on it.
On the other hand, you decided to up hold your faith that you will not fall by sitting on it. Simply, you sat on it risking the fact that you will not fall when obviously others would have doubted you.

Faith: belief without proof. A lesser form of 'knowledge', such that it is inconsequential to human knowledge; worthless.
---
I have faith in the human race, but above all, myself. I have 'faith' that I can accomplish goals and get through life without giving myself pep talks by mumbling to the ceiling.

First and foremost, I put my faith in God. Next, I put faith in myself and then family and friends. I do not put any faith into the government, the internet, the media or employers. They have their own agenda and don't deserve our faith.

This may be hard for you to understand, and you can go ahead and laugh or do thumbs down, or whatever. But its God. WHOLEY AND COMPLETELY GOD!!! He is everything, and he is not only what I put my faith in, but my trust, my love, my very life I put in his hands. God is my faith, all of it, not just some of it, all of it.
God bless, and merry Christmas

Faith is defined as belief without evidence or reason or in spite of evidence or reason to the contrary. I don't have faith, I require evidence and/or reason for my beliefs.
