First of all, if he is not happy with his girl, he would of left her a long time ago. Nothing is stopping him from leaving her. Second, if he is in a relationship and he is talking all this stuff to you, what makes u think that he is not going do the same thing to you if ever you guys get together? Also the fact that he mentioned that he is in a long distance relationship can mean that he wants u around until he hooks up with his girl again. Think about it.

Don't go out with him unless he dumps her first!

If he is saying stuff like, "he said he would date me if he had never met her." can mean only two things:

1. He really likes you and wishes he could be with you and will dump his girlfriend and ask you to be his new girl.
2. He is a player and will keep you here until he can be with his girl again.

You can find out what kind of man he really is if he indeed dumps his girlfriend. If you do anything with this guy before he dumps his girlfriend - you automatically know he is the #2 kind of guy.

He has to break up with her. If he can't do that for you, then he's not worth your time. I know you probably really like him, but if he's talked about breaking up with her and hasn't done it yet, it might not happen. Don't give him a bunch of time. For your own sake. If you get really wrapped up into this, it could end up really hurting you. It happened to me. I liked this guy who was with another girl and she was a total ***** to him, not to mention ugly. He told me time and time again how he wanted to break up with her and be with me, but it never happened. Then finally we were hanging out and he kissed me, so I thought that finally meant he'd be with me. Nope, he went back to her. If this guy doesn't start to show you that you matter and not this other girl then you need to walk away. Plus, it's not always good to get mixed up with someone who is in a relationship that's been that long. He could still have feelings for her. Anyway, good luck.

well that is a very sticky situation, but I know how it feels to want to be with someone that is with someone else, however someone could be hurt in the end. If you really like him tell him how you feel and whatever his response is you still have to be by his side no matter what, because one day he will look back and say you have always been by his side.it is sort of like planting a seed before it will grow it first must be watered good luck.

Stop wasting your precious time on this idiot! Liking someone who is already w/someone is stupid and childish and it will cause only trouble for you. How would you feel if your b/f was talking to another girl? You'd probably dump him in a heartbeat. He's already told you after 2 yrs of being w/her that he likes her! Stop torturing yourself, wake up, and stop wasting time on some boy who already has a relationship. One thing about us guys is we like it when lots of girls are after us. What you are doing is firing his engine for no reason to you at all. It probably makes him love her even more.

He knows you're interested, but you shouldn't wait for him. Keep living your life and looking for love, and if it's meant to be with this guy, he'll end his other relationship and come to you. In fact, he'd probably be more interested in pursuing/seeing you you if he knew you would be willing to move on, but do be there for him if you don't meet anyone else and he ends the LD rel'p. If he does come to you, make sure the other girlfriend is completely out of his life. Good luck, and stay happy.

Ok girl, here it is nice & simple: HE HAS TO DUMP HER. Got it? If he really doesn't like her and likes you more, he'd dump her and get with you. Now, if he just wants you "on the side" he's gonna make all kinds of excuses about why he can't dump her and then want to still have you to hook up with. Be careful of that. Guys are not that crafty, and we can usually see when they are being jerks, so be smart! Only give him what he wants (and what you want) when he gets rid of her first...

The key word here is DATING. They arent promised. They arent engaged. They arent married. They're DATING, long distance. There's no reason why you cant DATE short distance. Dating is merely getting to know someone.
Please gently let him know these things.

girl test your luck or maybe do something to put him to the test. if he wants to be with you then he will break up with her or maybe tell her that he found something to make him happy which would be you. and if his friends dont like her nine times outta ten shes the cheating decievin type so you would maybe have a better chance anyway. you'll never know until you try

You should not want to go out with a guy in a relationship. Make sure he is broken up before you do anything
