if its a first date...something simple or fun
simple: picnic, dinner, walk in the park (if its an early date)
fun date: putt putt, go carts, amusement park

Well I take it this must be a first date or close to it. Since your getting to know one another (if first date(s) )then dates that will encourage conversation would be good. Dinner, miniature golf something that allows both of you to talk and get to know each other. Loud bars will not stimulate conversation

Try Dave&Busters because it's fun and very entertaining. You can play games, pool, eat all at one place. If your looking for something a little more romantic try Ittialana's it's very romantic and the setting is perfect take it from a girl she or he will love it.

If it's a first date, it is a good idea to go somewhere where you will have fun, like dancing, a nightclub, bar, sporting event, concert, play, where you won't have to have those uncomfortable conversations where it feels like you are on a job interview.
No one wants to be grilled for info, that is no fun.

i would say a coffee shop, because you can get to know someone with the conversation you would have sipping coffee. also, there would be no distractions for eating. it's a lot cheaper too.
