It's still a crush. It takes a lot to be in love with someone...i.e. emotional involvement. As others are writing, don't risk his career by telling him. And certainly don't tell him while you're in his class.
It's pretty normal for a young student to fall for a young, attractive teacher. It's more about what that person represents than the person him or herself. Enjoy the fantasy...but realize that it doesn't work outside of the movies.

OH MY GOD! I have the same problem but my guy is like way older than me. I told him once and he just shrugged it off. And then we finally hit it off. But get to know him and be his friend, when he feels comfortable around you, just jokingly ask "So is their a Mrs. _____? Cause there is no way anybody could put up with you." But make sure he knows you're teasing. And remember to flirt a LOT. Like just little things like flipping your hair when your looking away from him, and smiling teasingly. Remember to say "Hello Mr._____!" And give a nickname too so he knows you want to be friends. If your a good person, he'll come around...I don't care how uninterested he may act, he likes you, because if you like him, there's major chemistry there. NEVER GIVE UP!

Wait until the teacher evaluations are happening and write anonymously that you think he's a hottie.
There was an episode of Friends just like this.

i dont really know what to tell you.if i were you i would leave him alone because hes your teacher and that will be very awkward for you if he finds out.and you there might begin to be a problem.and if he doesnt fell that way about you.it will makes things weird between u to because he will probably avoid you more often.maybe not in class but anyway i wouldnt risk that.

Forget what all these other people are saying! If you really love him flirt with him a little bit, make sure he knows you like him. Go for it, you don't have anything to lose ^.^ btw if you don't do your homework, ask him if you're a naughty girl...if he says yes he wants you!

If you love him you'll leave him alone because he could lose his job.
If after your classes with him are over invite him for a cup of coffee and see what happens.
In the meantime it's very important to find out if he's married.
