I work for a company that uses many, many computer monitors and we take off the stands that are on the back of the monitors and mount the monitor. Normally we throw away the stand that it's on. I would like to find a way to recycle these as we have thrown away over 300 and it's still good material. Is there a place that will accept hard plastic and be able to do something with it?

Don't know where you are located, but in Boulder, there is a place called CHARM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials). Here is their link:

You may want to contact them and see if they know of any places more local to you that might be able to help. Also, many areas now recycle electronics such as computers. Maybe you can find the local place that does this near you and see what they can suggest for the cases.

Good for you for trying to do this!!
