I have a PDF e-book file, and I'd like to convert it into a text file so I can stick it on my ipod and read it during a trip....what programs can I use to do that?

click on the lil hand on top, press ctrl + A (to select the entire book), right click and copy to clipboard. Then just pasted it in a Word, or notepad or whichever your ipod supports.

Hiowever, it is likely that the e-book is a pdf that has been closed. this means it cannot be edited anymore to keep people from pirating the book. However - it may work and this program is free to try.
keep in mind CNET.com has a download section of freeware and shareware that is a really great rescourse. :)

Copy-Paste by select tool. ;)
Click on select tool select the text that u want to convert copy the clipboard and create a new notepad document than paste the selection.

there are lot of software available for it. but i recomment to go for solid works pdf to word converter ( www.solidpdf.com ) and u have lot of option to customerise your conversion from the no of pages to convert to the anchoring.... u can try lot of other softwares too....
