Be careful with the design and the artist that you pick. A friend of mine got what he thought was the symbol for pride on the back of his neck, but either the artist or the design was screwed up and a japanese friend later told him it was the symbol for sensitive. So do your research before getting it.

the best examples i have seen are in books about japanese tattoo because they are authentic japanese tattoos and not american artists renditions of japanese tattoos.
