In scripture how do you remind yourself that GOD fully loves and respects you, so that our self-worth doesn't rest on a peoples responses and attitude towards us.

Just be fully Human, be fully yourself, Express in your actions the selfless love that seeks only to serve.
If you can manage that, even the atheists would have to sit up and take notice!

that sounds like something the world is filling your mind with.
it is not about us- it is about Jesus! Any good in us is because of Him alone. No one is good, not one, no one seeks after God - Romans 3:10
We should be rested in the fact that we are saved through Jesus Christ, that brings complete peace and JOY. Just as Psalms says "Restore unto me the JOY of your salvation!" --Yes!
God is the one who works in us- Apart from Him we can do nothing- just as Jesus says:
John 15:5
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

If I needed reassurance I would have to go no further than the fact that he died for me in my place while I was in my sin.
