im 25 and single. i ended my long term relationship a few months ago and im ready to start dating again.
i find that guys rarely approach me when im out.
ive asked some of my guy friends why this is and they say its because they assume that i have a boyfriend and they are intimidated by me. what???
what do i do????

be friendly and approachable. hang out with a mixed group of friends and talk to people. men and women. when you appear to be interested in making friends you have a better chance of meeting someone you want to get to know better.

Wear what? do you have to have your breasts and bum out for men to look at you. The thing is what they consider intimidating is if you look like you have a brain and some class. I have been told I look intimidating.
The sad thing many men are not looking for a long term commitment so if you look like a tart BINGO!!!
You can't go around with a big moronic grin on your face all day so what then? I don't know where you live but in the U.K you have to go around half naked with everything hanging out to get attention...I am not prepared to do that so the future is looking bleak for me...lol.
You are only 25 you have loads of time...but don't sell yourself short to fit in..You will end up with the wrong type of guy. Eventually you will meet someone serious who will look at you and think...I can be serious with this lady. LADY being the operative word.

I have a female friend that says exactly the same, I think it is the body language you give out, no man likes to be rejected and if your body language suggests theres a better than 50% chance of that happening they might not bother. I have to say though do you really wanna be pestered by guys when you are out? I have to be honest I've never approched a girl cold, and tried a chat up line I can't really put a finger on what I do, but check them out alot and gradually drift together.

Answer: Well, obviously, you have to look as if you haven't got a boyfriend.
Alternately, you wear a sign around your neck stating this
fact ...or wear something that is ...shall we say 'alluring.'
Beyond those, I can not think of anything more to suggest ~ Oh, other than enrolling your friends in your venture! Have them to point at you with one hand and while they cover their hearts with the other....!

You know what, I doubt that is the real answer. I guess I would start appoaching the guys a bit..dress a bit sexy that sort of thing..put yourself out there a bit. Give the vibe you are available. Good luck.

More than likely they think that some bloke is already banging you and it would be pointless of them to appraoch you and ask you out.

I used to have this all of the time, I was a closed barriers up kind of person. You have to learn to look aproachable and open and quys will come over to you,......smile don't cross your arms that kinda stuff!! And if that fails try going over to them!!
