Atheists just cant figure us out? SOME of them continually tells us how wrong we are, question how we can possibly believe such "nonsense" as the Bible, cant understand how we could believe in a "sky daddy".
1 Corinthians 2:10, “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God
Noone knows the things of God except the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit wich we recieve. Is that why we get it, and they dont?

Ok, I'll humor the atheists who are telling me I dont get it. Your right, I dont get how you can ignore God. Is that better? I was not bashing you, I asked a question of Christians. If you feel the need to name call and insult, be my guest, it bothers me not at all.

God gave us free will and He will not force Himself upon anyone. You have to recieve God into your heart freely in order to start to receive things of God. Atheists resist allowing God in, so they don't get it.

Atheists criticize Christians because they have observed how you negate all reasoning and logic to champion the literal interpretation of the scriptures. But they too are in error because their belief is based upon the disbelief of modern day Christianity which is also in great error.
No Christian has receive the holy spirit, for they are still being breast feed from the milk of the scriptures and haven't climbed the next rung on Jacobs ladder to move on to the deeper mysteries of the scriptures. Until you begin to change your mindset and lifestyle in accordance to the royal law, then you will not receive the holy spirit.

"Noone knows the things of God except the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit wich we recieve."
This is an article of faith. It's not something you either "get" or don't, it's what you are prepared to take on board without considering any other possibility. So the thing that distinguishes the atheist from the theist is that you accept this sort of nonsense uncritically, and we don't.

Okay. Let's assume for a moment that in fact you're right. Jesus said something to the effect, "No one comes to the Father except Me, and no one comes to Me except that my father draws him."
So Jesus is saying, "You have to come to me to get to God, but only the people God draws will come to me." So God is directly responsible for my coming to Jesus -- if he draws me, I cannot resist (he is omnipotent, the slightest thought of his that I should be drawn to Christ is enough to make it manifest, even through my free will). If he does not draw me, then not the slightest thing I do can convince me that the scriptures are truth.
Thus, accepting the scriptures, or rejecting them, is entirely in the hands of God, not the person.
My being an atheist is perfectly in accord then with God's will, according to the logical analysis of your foundational axiom.

First of all, no one quite gets it all. I don't care if you're atheist, agnostic, christian, muslim, buddhist, etc. Yes, I am including myself. What I don't get is that certain people feel the need to tell others they are right or wrong without any validity to what their saying. Unless you know the absolute truth then none of us has the right to 'preach'. I would rather search the truth for my own benefit rather than coming to an assumption and forcing my beliefs on others. I don't care if I get a thumbs down for this either.

So you're saying the bible is true because god said so, and god is real because the bible said so?
Can't you figure out this is a circular argument?
When you can prove the existence of a god, and specifically your particular one, without assuming the bible is true, then we'll have something to talk about.

Er, you're the ones who don't get it.
You're way off track here.
Later:
I'm not name-calling. Maybe someone else is, but I'm simply answering your question, and correctly, I might point out. You came back with another mistake, suggesting that people are "ignoring God". Since "God" does not exist, we're not "ignoring" anyone.
Well, I just read the rest of the answers, and no-one called you any names. You just made that up. Your dishonesty is pretty transparent.

That makes sense. But we first have to get past our intellect & step out in faith to recieve the Holy Spirit. Some people have a problem with that part.

I still don't get it. I tried receiving the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit wouldn't come. Am I anti Holy Spirits? Does Holy Spirits hate me?

First of all, atheists have figured you out, that's why they are not religious. Why is it that in the bible it states that you are to love thy neighbor and yet it's the religious ones who are quickest to point your finger and condemn?
