Just give it some time. But as soon as she starts to get real thick hair (At around 3 or 4) , start to buy some carrot oil, this will help condition her scalp, and even if she may not like it, put some small ponytails in her hair for a while, that way you aren't combing it out and breaking it which is what most new moms will do.
Good Luck

It could be that her hair just grows slowly or it could be a hereditary or nutritional concern - if your pediatrician isn't concerned and she is otherwise healthy just get her some pretty headbands and bows then let nature take it's course. My sister was bald as can be until she was 7 (my mom put wigs on her for school) then it grew over the summer. We never knew why but after that she always had the prettiest hair. Some things just take time. Good Luck!

I'd leave her hair alone!! I remember when I was little I had barley any hair until i was 5yrs old,
but now I have super thick hair that people compliment me on everyday!
now, I have daughter who's 2 1/2 yrs old and she has the same hair and its frustrating sometimes when people think she is a lot younger than she is, but I love her just the way she is!

Whatever you do, DO NOT put any chemicals in her hair at this age. My aunt did that to my cousin, and well let's just say, her hair looks a HOT MESS!!! LOL. If you're using B&B, use the lite formula, at 2 1/2 yrs she doesn't need anything really strong on her hair. You could also try: Johnson & Johnson, they're really good.

b&b has worked for me. I have been using on my daughters hair since she had hair. She is 8 now and it is in the middle of her back. Use the lite until she turns 5 then use the super.

She is a baby...dont' worry about her hair! Let her be an infant for heavens sake. I wouldn't put anything on a 2 year old that would alter her hair growth. Leave her alone.

I don't think thats good to put chemicals on her head...but when i was little i had really thin , short hair. now it's super thick and long..my mom used to breaid my hair into tiny braids, adn then connect all those little braids to one huge braid...and she was consistant with that ritual. so if you do that, i'm sure her hair will grow.
