Im taking Nortriptyline HCL (oral) (10MG) and I was wondering if its a barbituate or not.

Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant, not a barbiturate. Barbiturates are generally anti-anxiety drugs.

Nortriptyline absolutely can make you drowsy/sleepy. many those with continual issues sense more desirable ideal after sleeping at the same time as they take a drugs like this that enables them to sleep even with the headache. i'm no longer constructive how a headache will be a facet-result noticeably once you had a headache before you took the drugs...
