Which one is better?

Even though these restaurants are both chains, I prefer Carmine's because it has a more homey feel and I think the food is better, too. Maggiano's is good, too, but it feels a bit more "mass produced".

Carmine's by far the better of the two. However, my suggestion to you is to go the Carmine's on the upper West Side (Broadway & 92nd) The one in Times Square near the Theatre District - The Service Sucks Big Time.

Definitely Carmine's. The food is awesome, the people-watching is great, and you're full for at least a day after you go.

Carmine's all the way! Their food, their service, their dessertssss beat anyone in town! My favorite italian place!
