A trip like that will take you at least 9 months and you'll have to get the visas of at least 13 countries. An airplane ticket will be FAR CHEAPER than what you'll spend on fuel, food, and lodging.

I don't think this is a serious question but it would be fun to speculate what countries you'll pass through, cities you'll visit, and sites to see.

Anyway, this would be a route option:

Spain>France>Italy>Austria
>Hungary>Romania>Moldova
>Ukraine>Russia>Kazakhstan
>China>Laos>Thailand

I would also like to point out that the Asian Development Bank is currently financing an Asian Highway network that will link Indonesia to Sweden.

Why bring a car to Thailand, The driving is very different here and on the other side of the road to you. Most westerners would be scared to drive in Thailand and particularly Bangkok. Take a taxi, far cheaper

the easiest approach is through Burma or you have a hell of a long way around. It is not safe to drive in Burma even if you could get your car in.

this is the last country and there are may other problems

Give up

I know it's possible! Driving in Europe is quite easy though because you ride on the same side almost every countries! Here in Thailand, there're some trial group tried out with Mitsubishi from Bangkok - across the land to Laos - northern tip of Laos(Laung Namta) - Yunan(Kuming) - Chendu- Xi'an- Beijing - across Gobe desert to U'lan Baaton - Ulan Ude - and the last destination Baikal at Irkurst! They already did that though! It's really amazing but you gotta be well-orginized by everything - car, fuel, immigration with car could be very expensive, mental, visa and so on....

Thats one hell of a distance to travel by car! You'll be at it for months!
Personally, I would drive the car onto a cargo plane and fly there.
One route is to drive to Moscow, then through Kazakhstan into China, then work your way round the right hand side of the Himalayas. Its not going to be easy. There are some potentially hostile countries in the way.

It would be too dangerous to even think about.
You would need to travel thrugh the middle east and through dangerous rural parks of china to reach thailand.
These parts of the world have high crime rates and you would probably not make it.
It would be far too dangerous!!!

It's easy.
Turn left at Gibralter and follow your nose.
And watch out for the Yaks in Kazakstan, they like to nuzzle up to tourists while your backs turned.
