It's going to depend on your point of view, but mainly of why you think "global warming" exists.
Earth has had several Ice Ages in its past -said to last about 10,000 years) and will continue to do so. From about 1350 to 1850, we went through what is being called the "Little Ice Age." From that point of view, no, global warming is not such a bad thing as it is a natural cycle our planet travels through. Earth *must* warm up to come out of any Ice Age. What that final or apex temperature is, we do not know.
If global warming exists because of relatively recent issues, then we need to be reminded that in the 1970's, scientists were giving the same doom prediction about global *cooling.* Despite its name, science is not always "an exact science." The more complex and difficult to study/test the issue, the more difficult it is for scientists to state for certain the cause and effects of it. (And often, scientists redefine the previous theory.)
A more important question could be "What are we doing to *adapt* to the situation?" Whether global warming (if it truly exists) is caused by man, the Earth, or the sun, we should construct ways to adapt and overcome. The technology is out there to make homes nearly self-sufficient. Ten to 30 years ago, it was too expensive to make an environmentally friendly home, but today we can, we just need to be able to implement it in an affordable fashion.
The technology is available for homes to recycle their own rainwater (and probably even pumped water), use the planet's own temperature to warm/cool houses, and use solar and wind energy to provide electricty. All of this can be done in an Earth-friendly manner.

Global Warming, as a result of the actions of humankind, is to some extent a scare being put about by some western governments to keep their populations in check, now there is no big Soviet bogeyman. The climate of the Earth is constantly changing - for several hundred years up the beginning of the 19th century the Earth was going through a 'little ice age' - there were regular 'frost fairs' on the River Thames when it froze over solidly. That has not been seen in 200 years. In fact, in the UK we have hardly had a frost this winter thus far (let alone any thought of a white Christmas!) At the time of the Roman occupation of Britain, grapes were a regular crop and wine was made. 8000 years ago the British Isles were joined to mainland Europe and scientists are currently investigating what is now called 'Doggerland', the area inhabited by man which now lies under the North Sea. Clearly, however, if the global climate is showing a warming tendency and sea levels increase significantly (but there is scientific argument that this isn't, in fact, the case) then low lying areas are going to find them selves in difficulties. But remember, all the theory about global warming is predicated on computer modeling and a lot of 'what ifs' and 'may bes' Yet, in the UK the Meteorological Office stopped issuing 'long range forecasts (i.e speaking a month or so ahead) as 'they weren't accurate enough'!

Population increases when Instinct says so. We breed rapidly (Everything Breeds) when instict senses a disaster of Natures Kind such as a Global Warm Spell. If people stop thinking bout themselves and think of the earth then... It is a Real Good Thing. Cause at the end of each warming cycle lies the cooling effect. This cleanses the Earth the the upmost extent. Right? The only effect we had on this Present Day Warming Cycle is Sped it up Dramatically with our Economic Emmission for Money and Power. We've only been in Control of ourselves for the last 11000 years or so when we became the Predator rather than the prey.

Are you serious? How could global warming NOT be a bad thing?
Sure, in some places crops are more productive than they used to be, but in regions of Africa there are no crops, sources of water have completely dried up and the people living there are facing a massive famine. Or how about the extensive loss of life in southern India, where the storms that hit are much stronger due to global warming.
We are destroying our habitat and the harder we push forward and ignore the environmental tasks at hand, the harder it's going to be to reverse what's happening to the earth.
EVERY little bit helps.
I really urge everybody to watch An Inconvenient Truth.

international Warming, because of the strikes of humankind, is to three volume a scare being positioned approximately by using some western governments to maintain their populations in verify, now there is not any super Soviet bogeyman. The climate of the Earth is continuously changing - for countless hundred years up the beginning up of the nineteenth century the Earth replaced into dealing with a 'little ice age' - there have been widely used 'frost gala's' on the River Thames whilst it iced up over solidly. That has no longer been seen in 2 hundred years. in actuality, contained in the united kingdom we've rarely had a frost this iciness for that reason a ways (no longer to point any concept-approximately a white Christmas!) on the time of the Roman occupation of england, grapes have been a widely used crop and wine replaced into made. 8000 years in the past the British Isles have been joined to mainland Europe and scientists are at present investigating what's now spoke of as 'Doggerland', the section inhabited by using guy which now lies under the North Sea. for sure, although, if the international climate is exhibiting a warming tendency and sea levels improve severely (yet there is medical argument that that's no longer, in actuality, the case) then low mendacity factors are going to hit upon them selves in problems. yet bear in suggestions, all the concept approximately international warming relies on computer modeling and a super type of 'what ifs' and 'would bes' yet, contained in the united kingdom the Meteorological workplace stopped issuing 'long selection forecasts (i.e speaking a month or so forward) as 'they weren't precise adequate'!

Though there are short-term benefits, like sunshine in Western New York in the middle of December, the long term problems such as more severe and frequent storms (Hurrican Katrina, etc.), the spread of diseases and vectors(Bird flu, malaria), expansion and shifting animal ranges(Killer wasps moving North), the flooding of coastlines, severe droughts in certain areas, and the usual mass extinctions that follow severe global warming events (Look to coral reefs if you want a current example of a really obvious, scientifically proven to be linked to climate warming extinction) tend to outweigh them in the long run.

My friend, if global warming isn't such an issue and we don't care about it, soon, maybe 50 or 100 years later, Earth will be the galaxy's largest fast food restaurant.

Yep. Global cooling would be a real problem. Global warming, if it continues, will present some problems, but the scare mongers never talk about the benefits which will probably outweigh the problems in my opinion.

Global worming is not the worse factor of climat change.
Most of poeple think it is the most important.
An other factor is the human activity which modify the water cyle by overpumping of deep water reserves and building waterprof surfaces or deforestations which accelerate the runoff and diminishes the recharging of water by infiltration.
Fortunatly i am here , don't worry i found how to reslove it.
No don't laugh it is true!!!
i catch the water and send it in the underground.

Genius, get a clue.
Crop cycles will be changed, and there will be less rain inland where most farming is done.
Not to mention all the flooding as the ice caps melt and sea levels rise.
