ok, lets see.

it is reasonable to assume that when a person has bad luck, they remember the circumstance to which it occurs. ( as in getting a life lesson,) you learn by your mistakes.
but , as strongly as someone learns about making a mistake or -having bad luck- , a person has an equally easy time forgetting his/her good luck, since no leason was learned.
so, murphy came up with the rule of law , stating that anything bad, that can happen, WILL. only for the fact that the bad things are easier to remember. and seem to happen more often.
then along comes the feeling that the universe is against you and if you drop a buttered piece of bread onto the floor, the odds of it landing buttered side down ( although 50/50) are far greater than if it landed buttered side up.

did i make any sense?

It's really not a law it is just a observation that if something can go wrong it will.

For fun or what ever Murphy put it done as one of his laws.

It really doesn't matter what it's based on...it just seems to be the way things actually work out in life.
