Well it will take about 2 weeks to feel the whole effect of it and then if you stop taking it, it can take up to 2 weeks to get out of your system but about 2 days to start getting cranky again.

Prozac and the others like it can be considered a miricale drug for those that really need it. That class of drugs has helped millions of depressed people to live better, happier lives. Be a good friend to this person because what they are going through is extremely difficult.

The first effects should start in 2-5 weeks depending on a number of things. But remember that Prozac is not always the right drug for a person. They may have to change around several times to find what works best for them.

Depends on the individual, but typically 1 week for it to get entirely into your system . Some anti depressants take up to 1 month such as wellbutrin. Prozac is a very basic starter medication for someone dealing with low grade depression, it will certainly not make him an emotionless machine....lol.

Usually it takes about 2 to 3 weeks, like most meds.

Medication sucks. It turns you into an emotionless machine.
