After an extensive internet trawl using Our Mainframe to search for keywords I've concluded the answer is not on the internet.
However: A birds shadow works for me!!! But, the shadow dosn't really swim??????

'swim in sea but stay dry' - Chicken being fried in oil with the oil then being drained

birds shaddow- it does 'swim' on the surface of the water but technically its not a part of a bird coz its not attached.
