my grammy used to make them and they were so delicious. anyone no it?

Yes. Make some bread dough or buy ready made puff pastry.

Saute the bacon finely chopped (preferably speck, or at worst smoked) Finely dice onions and fry. Add pepper and caraway seeds. Alow to cool.

Roll out dough or pastry and cut round rings. Fill the circles with a little of the filling. Fould over and seal. Put seam underneath. Cook on baking tray 20 mins.

Bacon-Onion Pan Rolls
Yield: 6 Servings

Ingredients

1 1 lb loaf frozen bread dough
1/4 c butter or margarine; melted
-and divided
1/2 lb sliced bacon; cooked and
-crumbled
1/2 c chopped onion

Instructions

On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Cut
with a 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter; brush with 3 tbsp butter. Place 1 tsp of
bacon and onion on half of each roll. Rold over and pinch to seal.
Place, pinched edge up, in a greased 9-inch square baking pan, forming
three rows of six. Brush tops with remaining butter. Let rise until
doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake at 350ø for 25-30 minutes or until golden
brown.

I have several, for many different types of bacon/onion rolls. Everything from breads made totally from scratch to appetizers that are not breads. Which one do you want? Update your question if you're still looking, and I'll edit this response and post the appropriate recipe.
