Would you wait for love?

Question

You've just broken up (his choice) and he says:
" On your wedding day i'll either be your best man or the man stood next to you holding your hand and gazing into your eyes, who knows."
He cares about you so much, wants to be your friend so you're still in each others lives but can't decide now what he wants in the future but knows he can't lose you....
...Would you then wait for this person if you truly could not envisage life without them and love them with all your heart?

how long do you wait fay? the love of your life waves to you across the room then walks another girl home while you politely refuse invitations out to dinner from admirers? at some point you gotta get back on that horse so you be the one with a smile and a wave and let him worry about it

It depends upon what you want. Do you want to wait for this man? do you want to turn down other good guys who want to be with you in the hope that he will come back to you?

I think that some guys feel something in their heart but it takes ages for their head to catch up. i.e. he cares for you so much but he can't put his feelings into some sort of verbal committment.

Guys like this are very difficult to be with because he can't make a decision about you so you can never be sure if one day he will meet someone else.

Umm Wait until the lightning strikes again??? Your the only one who can make the descion, if you believe he's the one then revel in the contact, but if he's playing games with your heart, look elsewhere if he see's he might lose you, he could come back, but by that time you may not want him to.

Difficult game love. Write how you feel down so you can have a laugh at yourself in a few years.

Thats not waiting thats being someones fallback or back-up plan, be realistic. Tell the sh*t that you can only be friends and stick to it. If he loves you he will probally come around if not than your better off. In the mean time date other people and let him see you with them. That will let you know if he cares about you as a girlfriend or a friend. You'll know the diference.

When a person you love so much does this to you, you hold onto the desperate hope that they will realise what they have lost and come back to you. You think right now that there will never be anyone else that means as much to you, but trust me there will be. You have to let him go and start looking for your Mr Right, cos he's out there :)

this is a very heartless ting for someone to say and do. He left you, he obviously doesn't want to be with you. I would throw him away like the bouquet on your wedding day when you finally marry the man who DOES want to be with you. hope you find REAL true love real soon. happy days!!

You shouldn't wait on him if he broke up with you. Obviously if he wanted to be with you - you guys would be together. You could be missing out on a chance to meet someone that DOES want to be with you and isn't going to keep you guessing.

He choose to break up with you! Move on! I don't think I would ever go back to him what would keep him from breaking up with you again? WHY DID HE BREAK IT OFF????

Or maybe you take him back and he breaks it off again and you take him back and he breaks it off again, THEN after doing that 8 or 10 times he pops the question and you get married, THEN two years later he divorces you?????

If he can't commit now what will make him able to later?
