Since we are all interconnected, the concepts of 'greater' and 'lesser' are utterly meaningless.
Is gravity some how 'greater' than electronuclear (the combined force of EM, weak nuclear, and strong nuclear)? Is H2O somehow 'better' than C6H12O6? Is Astronomy a 'higher' science than Chemistry?
If I start an oscillating chemical reaction in a 1L vat, and at equilibrium split it into two 1L vats, adding enough of the appropriate chemicals to each to fill them, do I have two new chemical reactions, or do I have a continuation of the original in two different vats? If I do this again, so that I have four vats, eight vats, 2^32 vats, have I ever STOPPED the reaction?
Since this is how life functions (we are a continuation of our parents particular chemistry), can I claim to be morally superior to a bacterium? How about some algae? A worm? An ant? A lizard? A lemur? A gorilla?
Then what is 'greater' and what is 'lesser', if everything is equal?

No. If I wasn't here oberserving this universe it would not be this universe. I help create what is by observation. "The" universe would not be here if I was not. "Nothing" however is greater. The concept of zero and the empty set and the power of vacuum energy. I am not as able as bringing something from nothing as the "void" does.

Yes, God is. He is greater than the universe, as He created it. Merry Christmas.

Of course. G O D. He is greater than EVERYTHING. For He made the universe and all that is in this world. He made it for Himself. As it says in Colossians:
Colossians 1:16
For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him.

Society. The only thing greater than a person is a group of people. That's why I believe everyone should act in the best interests of the society they live in, to the benefit of that society and themselves as members of it.
Also Noel Fielding is greater than me, but I don't think that was quite what you meant.

The Universe is the totality of existence. Since "you" aren't the Universe but merely a part of it, then yes.
