I'm crushing on my neighbor, bigtime. He knows it, but hasn't made any move yet. Another neighbor of mine told me that my crush shaved his head because his hair was falling out; he has cancer. But, I have been suspecting that she likes him too.
Is she saying he has cancer just to make me not like him anymore? But the weird thing is, I still like him, even more! Do you think she's telling the truth?Is that why he hasn't asked me out yet?
PS: She told me that she asked my crush's brother why he shaved his head and then he told her that my crush has cancer.
What should I do?Ask him myself or ask his brother?

As I cancer survivor, I would advise not to ask him. This could push him away from you as this is a very personal issue and has a lot of emotional issues attached. If you feel she is not being truthful, ask his brother. If he really told her that, he wouldnt have a problem telling you either. If its a lie, he'll tell you that too.

It sounds like you have a crush on this guy without knowing very much about him. Maybe you should just talk to him and get to know him better and then I'm sure the truth will come out. I would also be careful that you don't like him "even more" out of sympathy or just because your neighbor likes him too. People with cancer are just regular people and deserve to have normal friendships, not just relationships built on sympathy.

Why would someone lie about cancer?? Whether she likes him or not ..that is not a thing to joke about...I would maybe become better friends with this guy and see if he confides in you about it.If he trust you (which is what you need in a relationship), he will let you know.But she has very bad morals if she would joke like that JUST to get a boyfriend

surely nobody is that cruel to lie about something like that and he has the tell tale signs of cancer, but you must ask him yourself and offer any support he may need first, after a while tell him you have feelings towards him and see where it goes from there . good luck

Sounds like a rumor so the other girl can ask him out. I would ask him if the rumor is true. Then before or after ask him out to dinner & a movie.

Um....simpel just ask him...it is possible she likes him too...but don't what for him to make the first move...because it may be too late...be out right blatantley honost with him!

Just because you like someone doesn't mean they have to like you back. If you can't go talk to him about it then you don't have much of a chance. I'd say just go talk to him.
