how old are you? maybe you are too young that's why they against it.

If not, then talk to them, tell them how you like that girl, that you very interested in her, just ask them to give you a chance. Or just start seeing her like a friend, if they'll notice how happy you look they'll change their minds

good luck

So often in life we do the things that are not in our best interest. Its hard to concede that out parents know better, when all we want to do is fly w/ the angels. Girls are a Pandoras Box. Imagine for a moment, things you are sure you don't understand, like rocket science, or why the dog chases his tail and not the neighbors cat. Girls are 10fold to this. In school, you have to study for a test to be prepared, take ur time to study the intricacies of relationships before you want to jump in. It's not a battle, or struggle of wills, just careful preperation. For everything there is a season. Urs will come.

Bring home all your friends, including the one whom you want to be with as boyfriend/girlfriend. The fact that you want to convince them to let you have a girlfriend, you are concern about their reaction. So bring out your sincerity and confidence in yourself. I am sure your parents are worthwhile for you to take this extra effort to make them accept your needs.

Hey dude, just take it easy with such things.

I'm very young too,I'm only 12 but I already have a loving girlfriend called Amanda. We see each other almost everyday in class and we do almost everything together. I believe as long you feel that you're ready for anything you should go all out to fufill your targets and dreams. Your parents should be more open-minded like mine,I'm meeting my in-laws next week,I'm feeling so jittery! Dude, they will understand someday.

If u are below 13 DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!!! If u are above, be honest with them about girls and show them that u are just being friends, call them over to your home for studies or weekend barbeque and tell ur parents that this should be under their guidance. I am sure in due course they will observe u and this will incerease their confidence in you then slowly u can try going out mayb for early movies or study groups - REMEMBER TO KEEP THE RELATIONSHIP CLEAN, until u think u are smart enough to handle a bigger relation.

That is amazing, you are a guy and you can't have a girlfriend, I bet it's your mother that is manipulating your father into not letting you date. What you can do is just get yourself a Chick and make out with her, on the second date you'll be able to hit a home run, that's how Chicks usually work nowadays.

Well how old are you? For someone young, it may be too soon. Also why do you want a girlfriend so soon? Is it to be friends, because you can be friends with girls without a relationship. Ask yourself if you are ready to handle a girlfriend.

How old are you? I would suggest making a list of the pros and cons of having a girlfriend and then show your parents that you are mature enough to have one by discussing it with them.

I don't think your parents would be against you haveing a girlfriend if that doesn't mean sex!. obviously you're a bit young, and I strongly recommend that you show them you're capable of having normal relationships without sex. things will losen up as you grow up, and soon enough you will be your own man without having any conflict with your parents.
