aannnnd your trying to get a hold of your recruiter here? Or what?, yes it is your choice when and where you join, and when youdo your physical, if you feel rushed by your recruiter it is because it is towards the end of the recruiting month and he wants to hit goal. I BELIEVE in joining the Military and serving, I never believed in rushing my applicants into joining. A good recruiter has a big enough prospect pool he/she shouldn't have to rush anyone.

MEPS is open every weekday except National Holidays. They are also open at least one Saturday each month during the school year. If you need to (or want to) reschedule your appointment just tell your recruiter. Just be honest with them. MEPS will be there, but the recruiter will worry you're stalling because you're scared or you changed your mind. Let them know the deal and you'll be fine. Whatever the case, just stand your ground. They won't turn you away.

You must communicate with your recruiter about this. But understand this: when you go to MEPS for the 2nd time, you are sworn in and there is no time for you to reschedule that. That is how it was when I joined, two visits to MEPS.
I wont hold you joining the Navy against you (laughter). Be sure to kick @ss and stay focused!!

After doing 10 years in the Navy believe me when I say, do not let them force you into anything. Let them make ammends to you, not you to them. They need you more than you need them.
When you go to MEPS, they might try to strong arm you into joining a rate that you don't feel that you would like. You do not HAVE to choose a rate that day. You can wait. Just keep all of this in mind. Once you sign that dotted line, your in. So, just take your time and if you feel rushed, just stop and think it over.

As a prior navy man, I have tried to cancell MEPS, but the recruiter said, you might as well get it over with.
The reason I wanted to canx it, is because I didn't want to finger to go in my rectum.
