I think happiness comes in many forms. Dating someone does make people happy. A lot of times I feel more pain after I am done dating someone so I have to remind myself that being single is a good thing. You don't have to worry about a break up or seeing that person at night or if he/she is calling or texting you. It's always nice to be selfish for awhile. I think it is totally possible to be fulfilled without having a patner, due to the fact that there is so much more to life then a relationship. Good friends/good food/good books/sports/movies/outdoors activities all of these things can make one feel fulfilled.

I have always been happy for a little while when I am single, but I have times where I am sad and want a boyfriend, but I prefer to be single. Life can be fulfilled without a partner, because you can find happiness in yourself,it won't be easy but it isn't impossible

Usually as a couple. As long as the relationship is reasonably happy, I have always preferred to be in a couple. Single life is great, as long as one has many friends, and an active social life. If you are part of a couple, you always have someone you can talk to!

I was married for 15 years, and have been single for the last 2. I definitely prefer being single. I am not against relationships, though. I currently have a boyfriend, but we each have our own places. It works out much better that way.

SINGLE!!!!!Definitely.I have been with my man 2 and a half years but I can't do what I want ,when I want.No restrictions. The only problem I found eith being single was that there was nobody to go home and snuggle upto at the end of the night.

I have never been with a partner for more than a year so I do not know. Ask the divorced or is it the divocees? they may know better. If you want us to experiment, email me. I am enjoying my singleton, but want to experiment lol!

That really depends on the individual! I loved being single, but that's just because I did not know it was possible to be in a relationship that be just as aw sum (or even more)

I can't judge happier, but I do know that single women live longer than married women. And married men live longer than single men. So you can see who's getting the benefit from marriage there!
