I agree with you 100000000% I also live in a "little Mexico" in Texas - not a very nice place to live! Yeah, it has always pissed me off how they can't keep their legs closed. It's almost as if they think the world is gonna end if they don't have a baby every single year. If they are so dang "poor" they really shouldn't be having all those bambinos. It's not very responsible, is it? It just proves what kind of people they are.

In a perfect world, anyone who is unable to support their children should be limited, i.e. birth control. The trend seems to be that for the most part, parents who can financially handle the burden of children are limiting their families to 2-3 kids, while the ones who rely on welfare and A.D.C. are churning them out like puppy mills. And those who are supporting their own 2-3 children are paying to support the ones without sense enough to stop getting pregnant. But it isn't a perfect world, civil rights & laws are a little back-assward here and things will probably never change.

I am not catholic (nor illegal for that matter - born and bred here in the USA) and I have 6 kids - counting my 2 step children we have 8 (and although they do not live with us at this time, we financially support them. All needs from food to clothing to school supplies to whatever else they need, we send to them. Once we finish with immigration for them to get their papers to be able to come here, then they will then come and live with us as well) And it is not anyones business how many children I choose to have. (or how many children others choose to have as well).
DJ - I have 6 of my own and two step children, and my husband and I can take care of them fine - financially, emotionally and everything else. With no outside help. (welfare etc. etc.) by saying that someone has alot of kids means they don't have a lot of sense is one of the stupidist things that I have heard today. Some people only want 1 or 2 kids, others want a large family. But then I guess those of us that like having a large family have the patience and time and love that people (that make stupid comments like the one you made) don't.
I stay home with my children, my husband works two jobs. I used to work, but now the work that i do is seasonal - mainly tax returns - and I help out with local agencies trying to find people the help that they may need (which I now do as a volunteer). I also homeschool 2 of my children (the other 4 are to young for school) and both of my older children are in John Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, with my oldest son being in the top 3 of our state on his test scores the JHCTY. Money doesn't make you a better parent, in most cases in makes you and your children a more materialistic parent. My children don't get tons and tons of presents for their birthday/Christmas and what not. They get a bit, and they are happy with what they get, and they know that it isn't all about what you have.

Yes, they need birth control. Unfortunately some (90%) of the men over the border like to keep their women knocked up, so to speak. So when they come over here they just keep doing it. Keeps their women around to cook and clean for them, while they go out and make alittle money.
I am also tired of them coming over and making all these babies and then not teaching them to speak english. Saw a lady at the store the other day, she had 3 kids, one was about 5, the other 3 and then a baby, none of them spoke english. But that is a discussion for another time. Alot of them are just ignorant.

I agree with you, because alot of these women are victims to their oversexed husbands and boyfriends who wont wait for the woman to heal after childbirth and will just go and get her pregnant again and again. Then on top of that they have no control of the children they have so they run amuck outside and get into trouble and eventually join gangs.

Government should not control how many children a family has.
Government should not reward people for breaking laws or contributing to the overpopulation problem either, but unfortunately too many people believe that every one deserves a free ride. Public assistance, has become the norm, and it perpetuates people living off the system instead of learning how to support themselves. I am all for helping someone out, but welfare should be a pathway to self sufficiency, not an ongoing bonus.

They can have all the kids they want in their home countries. You know, when I was a kid the state would only pay benefits for two kids. If you had more that was your problem. If we did that now they wouldn't keep popping them out and expecting us to pay for them. And we are paying for them. Who do you know that can afford to have 6-14 kids and support them all themselves? Not even college graduates, but then I suspect they have more sense than to do that.

I agree with you - but you could have said it more tactfully. I think that is where everyone is coming from on their "attacks" of you.
I think anyone here illegally should be deported, and should not ever get any benefits offered to our citizens in this country. And I also feel that if they have a child, that child is NOT a citizen of this country - that is why they do have them, you know. They do it so the child is a legal citizen, and they have "reason" to stay.
If we remove that "anchor" rule, then we would help do away with the whole baby issue. . .

Just so the world of our kids to come, yes I'd say like 2 or 3 max. At the rate our world is growing, and this must be stopped.
