Ive got it.. Your ninja skills are so good no one even realised they were being joked with. They probably thought you were serious like James Bond. Maybe you should figure out how to do it in a accent Like Shawn Connery. But then it would not be funny because that would never happen to the Shawn connery James Bond. Damn you ninjas! Always Messing with peoples heads. coming in under a cloud of smoke, messing all sorts of stuff up, and being gone when the smoke clears.

Maybe it's not necessarily the actual context of the joke that makes is funny, but the tone one would take when telling it. Therefore it would be funnier in person. Either way, don't mind what people say. If they are going to put you down for trying to spread joy, forget them. Keep on telling your jokes.
