Try a routine that is high cardio and with a little bit of weights to help toning. You have to work out at least 4 times a week for 30 minutes minimum. If you keep this routine along with a low calorie diet, then you will lose weight pretty fast.

You can vary your exercises by runing one day, then swimming laps the next day. That way you won't get bored.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Assuming you're not in the best shape right now, if I were you I'd start with about 30 minutes of walking or exercise biking a day. Lift some free weights at the gym and at home to combat flabbiness and to tone up.

PRetty soon as you start to get in better shape, you'll want to up your routine. Maybe add an incline, walk faster, or start jogging. In addition (esp. after you get to the last 10 or 15 pounds) you'll really need to kick it up and work out for about 45 minutes a day for optimum results.

Exercise, 5-6 times a week, make sure you are doing cardio at least 5 times a week and strength training 3 times a week, Make sure you are eating healthy meals too. Take a vitamin once a day, I find that small changes work better than trying to do it all at once. The strength training will increase your metabolism. Drink lots of water too. This will help flush your system of toxins.

Well, under the "so far, so good" category...I swim about 4 times a week at one of the city pools for at least an hour. 20 pounds lost so far. As for food? Well, I'm not the best eater, but the grocery outlets have 5 pound sacks of apples on sale this time of year. Canned fruit also is my "dessert" at lunch

Try Turbo Jam. I just started and it is really fun. It have advanced moves or go with the easier ones. It really is for everybody. When you order from beachbody.com you will get multiple DVDs so you can mix and match. They have some with weights for extra tone, a dance party that is fun and make you sweat, just cardio, and an ab workout. If you keep your workouts varied, I think you will like it better and be more motivated to do it. Good luck.

I think the real trick is to find something you don't hate doing. For me, I chose walking, both outside and on a treadmill when the weather is bad. That, coupled with a sensible diet (weight watchers) helped me to lose 60 pounds.

I did it by jogging and gradually increasing speed until I actually started running by the time I was 40 lbs. lighter. I have since included jumping rope and I put back on some weight by lifting weights. My waistline is still down from 38" to 31".
