i am shy to eat in front of my boyfreind what do u think?

It's only on your mind. I've been that way before the first time I had a boyfriend. As time passes, you'll get through with it. There is really nothing to be shy about. If the guy likes you or loves you, he doesn't care whether you are eating in front of him or not. If you both are eating, then why be ashamed about it? You are lucky you have foods to eat. If my boyfriend keeps looking at me while I am eating, do you know what I will think? I don't care! If so, then damn if I do and damn if I don't. Just don't be shy. You'll be alright..

I thought it was interesting that one answer implies that eating is embarrassing. Why would you be shy to eat in front of your boyfriend? He KNOWS you eat or you would be dead. Everyone eats, that's a fact. If you're worrying that he may think that because you eat you also use the bathroom, well, I'm pretty sure he's not even thinking about that while he's inhaling his food because he's hungry and enjoying your company while having a good meal. Just eat, have a good time. There's a reason why people get together to share a meal and why good restaurants are frequented and it's not because people are being too "shy" to eat in front of eachother.

Well sometimes when you really like a person we do tend to have certain things were not comfortable doing around that person. But I think if the 2 of you have made it to boyfriend stage then you need to loosen up a little and not put so much thought in to how you look when your eating. If the 2 of you are eating at the same time watch him a little while he eats that might take your concentration off of yourself. Good Luck

That happens alot but you cant be scared of what might happen. Never eating in front of guy you like is not a long term solution. Try just eating smaller dishes at first or take small bites. Either way people will notice how you eat so you have to accept that fact. cause you do it too

I had a friend in highschool that was too shy to eat in front of a guy and/or even other females that she didn't know well. We all have something that we're self conscious about. Maybe it would help if you just got the issue out in the open, he may reassure you that it's okay, and you could both work on it.

he knows you eat and he know you,,as well as every other person on this planet will make a hash of eating spaghetti so dont worry,,,start with small things,,a biscuit,a stick of celery but at the end of the day you will eat in front of him at some point if you and he continue dating,,see how he eats,,i bet he drops things,,gets it on his chin so why is it so bad for you to do it,,,,lettuce and dressing hates us all so if you go out,,order the same as him and make a mess together,,,you will have a laugh if nothing else.
