I've been searching the internet, but no pickles.
Eating a pickel whenever I have the hiccups works, but I don't know why.
I'm trying to prove my parents wrong when they say I'm a crazy person eating pickels after hiccups. (:

Never tried that. Drinking sugar water usually stops my hiccups

The key to stopping hiccups is to relax your diaphram. Maybe you are relaxed when you eat a pickle...maybe it offers you comfort.

Most people get hiccups when they are excited or laughing for long periods...relaxing or holding your breath works good too. (you might hold your breath when you eat a pickle because of the vinegar)
