You are to go through Jesus to get to God

Satan has his hands on this, by deny that Jesus was not God's son, then the door is closed to those who do not Believe that Jesus is our Savior. He has worked his magic on this and did a mighty fine job if you ask me.

Look at how many people are converting to Islam. He did his job and did it very well

Christianity and Islam differ is the basic idea of who God is.. How much more difference do you think there has to be before we are diametrically apposed? Christians believe man is in a fallen state from which no one can work their way out. We believe God's standard is perfection, based on His own righteousness. If a person sins the LAW demands blood to atone for that sin. Before Christ the people of God used the blood of animals to receive God forgiveness. Those animals sacrifices were just a symbol of the real blood sacrifice that was to be. God entered the world Himself manifest as the Son to be the sacrifice for our sin. Since He is omnipresent He is the only One who could make an eternal sacrifice for sin. When you tell us that Jesus was a just a prophet you belittle our God. Yes He is a prophet, but dear one He is far More... Jesus is the I AM of the Old testament. He is God who lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt. The God that chose the seed of Abraham to be His chosen people. The God that laid the foundation of all creation.. Ask all the questions about Him you like. You don't have to believe a word I say. Just respect my faith because I hold it to be as sacred as you do yours... May the God of creation hold you in His tender care and bring you to Himself... Jim

Hey I do not intend any offence but surely you must have had some religious teaching growing up!
This question of the death and resurrection of Christ is basic Christian teaching, sin entered the world through our first parents Adam& Eve and infected the whole of creation on Earth, this we call original sin and every man and woman inherits this sin at birth.
This sin is so serious that Jesus came to give His life to free us from the punishment this sin brings,i.e eternal damnation.
Yes I know young people cannot be annoyed with all this you want to enjoy life and have good times, fair enough, but the problem is that those who dismiss Christ as having no importance and who will eventually die one day, may well be horrified that it was all the truth, and that they and many others were totally in the wrong, but it will be too late by then.

While Jesus, the Son of Mary, was said not to have been crucified in the Qu' Ran. It does state that a man with his likeness was, while he, himself, was actually lifted up or 'ascended'. Now, interpretation is everything, crucifixion was common practice during the times of Prophets or 'men of vision'. So for Jesus the Man to have been crucified is not far fetched, just as John the Baptist is said to have been beheaded. Likewise, many other Prophets, Kings, and Commoners were all persecuted for what amounts to nothing more than their beliefs. Now, having said that I will direct back to interpretation and lead you to the story of Steven, Even Steven as it were, that can be found in the book of Acts in the New Testament Writings of Kings James Bible. The story states that even as Steven was being stoned to death, his resolve in his Lord was being strengthened, until he cried out right before his death, "My G-d, I see Thee and Thou Art Glorious". Forgive a bit of paraphrasing on my part. However, my whole point is this, what is death to a Man that is Living His Life, Humbly, Honoring his Lord. So I will say that the name of Jesus has been crucified, because the Man never could have been. How faithful unto G-d would he have been if his own belief had wavered, faltered, died, or even fell. The Point of the Crucifixtion, as I see It, is to remind US All that innocent men have fallen and will continue to do so, as long as they stand alone. ONE

Pretty much all of the Prophets before and after Jesus were attacked and abused by the listeners so that isn't something new. But Jesus was different. He allowed this to happen to him because of his mission. He had come to earth to die for us so that we may be free of sin and have eternal life. Sin is here because God gave us the blessing (and sometimes it feels like a curse when we feel the effect of peoples decisions) of free will. So when we are tempted to sin and do that creates the sin and makes even more to come if we fail to stop.

God Bless,
Elisha

He is both. The God-head consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. A Trinity - Plurality in Unity. Hebrews 1:5 and following starts out "For to which of the angels did God every say, "You are my Son; today I have become your Father?" This establishes that Jesus is not an angel and that He is the Son of God. Then in verse 8 He says "But about the Son he says, "Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever" Now, the Son is being call God. This is the best scripture that show that Jesus is the Son of God and is God. @Muhammed B - While you are right that 1+1+1=3 1 x 1 x 1 = 1 and 1 to the 3rd power = 1

The reason why Jesus suffered was because, although He was the son of God, he was a complete Human on earth. He hurt, he felt sadness, and embarassment, just like we do. He was faithful to His Father, and mankind by allowing himself to be crucified. He could have stopped it at any given notice. And even in the middle of it, He cried out to God saying "Why did you forsake me?" He was being human. As we all are.

If you had ANY familiarity with the Bible, you would know that EVERY Prophet of God was murdered by men who hated God. This is just one more proof that Mohammed was NOT a prophet of God.

First of all your statement that Christians and Muslims don't differ in much is baloney! What are we the same in? We have a different God, a different saviour, a different salvation, a different future, and different purpose, different methods, etc, etc. and a different belief about whether Christ was crucified. Our Bible teaches in chapter after chapter that He was crucified and gives many details about it. Go and believe your own teaching but don't tell us what we believe or don't believe.
