I am not english native speaker. But next month i must go to party. There are many westerners join this party. I feel not confidence because i ever had experience. I was not understand english if they speak fast or difficult words or complex sentence.please advice thank you.

dont worry!!! not very many ppl can speak proper english. just look at them if you dont understand and laugh!! I do that cuz i dont care, It works!!!

I'm Iranian and I live in Iran.I study English at university and I think you're English is good enough.To trust your own ability, think of how many words you know in English, I bet it's more than 2000 words, so you're doing well.No one would expect a non-native to speak English properly.Just believe your ability and don't be afraid to make mistakes while speaking.Many people cannot learn English because they never dare to speak English, since they're afraid of making mistakes.When you cannot understand what an English speaker says, you can politely ask him/her to repeat it for you slowly, so that you would understand them.

Don't feel bad, remember one thing, you are willing to speak and understand their language. You are probably a very smart person. They may only know english. If somebody says something fast, just ask them to speak slowly and exlain why. People should'nt get annoyed by it, at least I don't. Tell them to repeat what they said in a less complicated manner if you don't understand the words. Have fun with it. Every word that you hear that you don't recognize, try to memorize and when you get home, look for it in your dictionary, that way you learn new words.
My first language is Spanish and this is the easiest way for me to learn new words. Good Luck! !

Don't feel low if u can't speak English..I've same problem..Westerners speak their native English fluent..You speak your native fluent..that's natural..Is it possible they can speak your language?? So they know about it....Just speak whatever you know, nobody is gonna laugh at you...Just watch their accent how they speak, One day you gonna learn if you really are interested to speak English...

first of all, it think its cute that you are missing words in your sentences lol, but i heard someone say that they learned english well from listening to a lot of music.

sounds like you doing fine....writing it...Americans have all kinds of accents depends what part of the US your in.....just go with it..and you don't understand just ask them to repeat it
