There's this guy at my school, and people told me in this one lesson that he said he liked me. I wasn't sure whether to take it seriously or not cos I'm a bit self-conscious of the way I look, but then again, he's not exactly hot. So I ignored it, but then when he saw me at school the next day I walked in the room and he had this funny look on his face, and I heard him trying to pay off one of his mates his ask someone called "her" something. I don't know if it was me. I also heard one of his mates talking to him and my name mentioned too, and he always seems to end up sitting near me, but cos I'm not exactly popular or good-looking, I'm not sure if it's all a coincidence or if he likes me.

um, first of all get some pride girl.
Know your assests. There has to be at least one or two things attractive about you...a cute navel, perfect toe nails, darling laugh, amazing wit. Find it and flaunt it. Not just to him, but to the world! make it your signature.
Okay now that we've solved that self esteem issue, admit that yeah, he likes you. Of course he does. And so do about 10 other guys in your school. You've just not noticed it cause your head is down. Wake up! You don't have to be Paris. Actually why would you want to be? Men use her up one side and down the other. Much better to have substance...and know that you have it.
He likes you.
The real question is Do you like him? Is he good enough?
Be selective. If you don't find him attractive say "no thanks" and it will make you much more enticing...

I just read your post and to me it sounds like he does like you. But one thing, just because your not popular doesn't mean your not going to have guys look at youl. Guys can see different thing and you can see something completely different and besides looks aren't always the way to go. It's what's in the inside and how the other treats you. So what if he's not the "hotties" guy around. You may look into a mirror and are like "why would a guy ever like me?" But to tell you the truth I'm pretty sure there's someone out there that will like you not for your looks but for who you are inside. That's all that matters. But if he continues to talk about you like he's in middle school and you hear and see him talk and look at you then I would just try to come up with some type of conversation in class one day. Hit it off good...and don't think about what he's thinking at the time of you, just go for it and I'm sure everything will fall into place if it's meant to be. Good Luck!

first: fix your grammar! dang, I don't know how many times I tell people this. Hey, if you've seen my questions and answers, I make sure they have great grammar. I do have a few slip ups now and then, only because i'm rushing to be the first one to answer. but I always re-read what I wrote back to myself.

i think he likes you. is he trying to talk to you? you shouldn't be self-concious at all. i believe that what really counts is the inside, and that one action speaks more than 1,000 words. only because you are not miss usa or popular doesn't mean he won't like you. have confidence girl, and get out there. show him what you are really made of.

I think he likes you,just relax and wait for him to ask you out and show more signs,not unless his kinda coward in expressing his feelings then that would be a big problem

Maybe he does like you and isnt the type of person who judges people on their looks. So just talk to him and sees where it goes from there.
