One of the reasons why women have a higher sex drive than men is because women don't spend there time thinking of sex and our hermones are not active when we are not thinking of it at the time...But when it does we have a outburst of hormones that come which gives us an unlimited amount of energy (sex drive) much more then men...This is why most women can go a lot longer having sex then men where as men cannot....But let me tell you this as women get older some in there 40's we do tend to get more active then men that are in there 40's for the same reason that I have stated to you before...Now of course I could be wrong and there is nothing saying that I am right but I can tell you that we have a longer sex drive then men which is why almost all the men older speaking have to look for a younger women to see if the sex drive that they had before is still there...Where we don't really have to but we go for the excitement and more energy to keep up with us....Now like I said if I am wrong well I can be honest so that is my opinion.

First...I believe that women think about sex just as much as men do.

But it is a generalisation. Some think of it more than some other. And it is wrong to say that men think about sex all the time. Otherwise we would have men walking around with a hard on 24 hours a day. Unlike women...men cannot hide the fact that they are thinking about sex.

Pretty much the same story with sex drive.
I had a girlfriend who was always ready for it at anytime. To be honest...I could not keep up with her.
On the other hand...I have a male friend who is like she was. He has no problem doing it twice a day...7 days a week.

Quite frankly...if men were to have sex twice a day...7 days a week...I don't think they would be able to do their work proprely as they would be worn out.

you are confusing length of time enjoying sex with the act of ejaculation as the terminus of the act. Most woman do not orgasm as quickly as men; I think that's a given. If the sex is enjoyable don't keep score. but if your goal is simultaneous release then pace the man and encourage more foreplay. Even at 9 years older than my wife I have never had difficulty "keeping up" with her or going more than once or twice. We generally try to time our releases so we can enjoy it together but if someone finishes first that's OK too. Sex is not a game or something to be accomplished; it is a wonderful dance between two people. It is the closest we come to a true union both physically and emotionally.

I've heard that womens sex drives peek at 30 and mens at 17. Maybe that has a bit to do with it?. Plus Women find sex alot more sensual than what alot of men do.

LOL Maybe men DON"T think about sex more than women... It's funny that you say that womens libidos are generally higher than men, if it's typically men hounding the women for nooky! In some cases, it IS quite the opposite though. I think women's libidos fluctuate a lot more due our cycles of ovulation (prime time for pumping) where it's at an all time high and our lows during or around our "aunts" visit... Whereas men seem steady...

I think women think about sex just as much as men, they prob hide it while men are blatent. Look at female magazines? As for sex drives know women's increases at an older age than men's, but it's probably even accross the sexes. Women do a lot more than men so probably don't have time to think about sex as much as they would like to.

LOL! not in my case. I have LOADS of the stuff, needing somebody to use it on now lol! Although my friend has more sex drive than her boyfriend. Aw, me and my friend would be perfect for each other then :P kidding.

Anyways, I think men just like to show off and say yeah sex is great, yeah sex is this, sex ,sex they do this to show off too their peers and get called "the man". Woman do not like to act sexual and stuff because they may get called a ****, so with all this pent up thoughts, it leads to them having higher sex drives....IMO

I don't think they have higher sex drives, maybe at certain times of the month, but its pretty much equal between men and women.

To be honest its all about sperm meeting egg and procreation. Biology dictates that we need to be willing and provides meny mating rituals and pschological ploys to select a mate. Both men and Women spend an inordinate time thinking about sex, and the result is a steady stream of children. The system works. When it comes to the post contraceptive recreational side of things who knows who fancies who and why and how much time they spend fantasising about it tends to be reliant on the individual. My theory is that men lie about thinking about sex more in test and women lie about thinking about sex less in tests. Manhood? and Tarts?
Anyway.... Plenty of reasearch being done on the subject. Just enjoy it ;) ..................
