They weigh the same.
If you asked which is heavier, a sack of rice or a sack of sugar, providing the sack is the same size, then the question would be asking which is denser.
The current question is asking whether a kilo is heavier than a kilo.

They are both the same...a kilo is a kilo. It's just like the whole feather question. A pound of one thing is just as heavy as a pound of another thing.

A kilo in weight is a kilo in weight - they are equal in weight - the more appropriate question would be - what do you get more with - is there more sugur in a kilo or more rice!!!?
