I've been put in handcuffs plenty of times but I'm from Myrtle Beach so when the paddy wagon comes up I normal get out of it. . .And I know all the cops by name and my Uncle is the Judge in the town I live in so. . .

Yes, once in the Marines, but now I am on the other side of the cuffs. Having experienced both sides, I would have to say I prefer where I am at now, but have a lot of empathy for those that I arrest.

I have never been arrested but I know people who have been and they describe it as a very demeaning experience. I'm sorry, but to the person above who mentioned traffic tickets, that is not an arrest. That is a fine. Arrest involves incarceration and a later court date.

Yes - too often. Once in the States and about 8 times over here for various stuff. Been in jail and back in court after Christmas and probably going back. Not good.

Yes, living in Los Angeles, you get arrested and beat up by the cops a lot.
