for a holiday where you can quite literally do nothing, try the maldives. sit beside beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear water, with waiters looking after your every need, in 5* luxuary you can even stay in a water bungalow - a private luxuary lodge on stilts in the sea with a private jacuzzi. the food is fantastic, and there is lots to do if you want that. take my advice and book yourself a trip now to the maldives.

Paphos in Cyprus is great at christmas! It's quiet enough for you to relax but busy enough to have good night life. The weathers not too bad either. If you want hotter weather try the carribien.

BBQ's on the beach in Australia are supposed to be fantastic on xmas day but in all honesty the cheaper option is 'Stay In Bed!' lol

any place in the world? you are leaving a lot of margin here.
I would say then some Island in the Pacific. One without hotels and pools and all the rest of it.
