If it's a real rose, I'd dry it and mount it in a shadow box. You could even put it in a vase first. If you decide to mount it to the back of the shadow box, You could use decorative twisties. There's also hot glue, but that can get messy and look cruddy if you don't do it right.

I assume it is a real rose. What I did 23 yrs. ago is put them in a big heavy book(in between sheets of rice paper -or wax paper) piled a bunch of books on top, left for several months, then gently took out and super glued in arrangement on (your choice of background, --with ribbons-- ect...) And just framed them in a regular nice frame. They are still very nice. Of course, when you dry any flower you do not have the colors as bright. Hope I helped!

When I got married, I dried my husband's boutonniere by hanging it upside down for about two weeks, and then I mounted it inside a shadow box.
I mounted a piece of pretty scrapbook paper that matched my wedding colors to the back of the shadow box, and got a piece of foam board, doubled it up, and cut it to fit inside the shadow box. I then carefully cut a hole in the foam board that was a little bit larger than the boutonniere, so you could see the scrapbook paper through the foam board. I hot-glued the boutonniere onto the scrapbook paper, inside the foam board. Then I covered the foam board with another coordinating piece of scrapbook paper. I bought some pretty metal letters and numbers and spelled out our wedding day on top of the last piece of paper.
You can find reasonably-priced shadow boxes and scrapbook supplies in stores like Michaels (my favorite!) or Ben Franklin.
Good luck with your project! Hope this information helps.
