I'm assuming you are a teenage boy. And most teenage boys are very insecure. That is normal. Maybe you think you are more insecure than others, but believe me, they just hide it better.
Or you are so focused on your situation, you don't see it in others.
That's why teenage boys join gangs, to feel better about themselves by being accepted by a peer group.
If you are strong, honest and insightful enough to recognize your situation, you are already well on your way to a healthy maturity.
You are being harder on yourself than you need to be. You are better than you know. Most guys your age don't clue1 yet, and many never will.
Obviously, I don't know your entire situation, but I do know what being a teenager was like. You are going to pleasantly surprise a lot of people, including yourself, because you are not likely to assume that know-it-all posture, and you will always push yourself to do and be better. All that translates into a successful future. Enjoy it.

Just remember that there is only one YOU, and 6 billion other people in the world.
Stand tall, speak with authority, and make eye contact.
You want people to remember you. You want to be heard among the voices of others. Don't concern yourself with what others think, just BE YOU.

I went tanning.. I'm glowing and I have such more confidence. It's great because there is no line or wait in the off-season, and your skin looks better than everyone else's.

Pray to Jesus Christ and ask Him to come into your life. Works everytime! When God is for you, who can be against you.
