I say we have no terrorist attacks on US soil since we started the war on TERRORISM.

Do you think the terrorists just said "One is enough, we don't need to attack the US anymore", or do you think we are just keeping them busy at home, so they cannot attack us again?

Everybody points to the Iraq civilian death. Did you forget the high civilian deaths in the US about 5 years ago?????

I still cant believe the people who say this war was for oil. US does not buy Iraqi oil. We have spend billions on this war and have not gotten a dime back. I wish we would start taking the oil just so we could get some money back. I completely agree with the hippy hater at the top, since the war we have not had an attack on US soil. Another thing.... the civilians dieing in Iraq are not being killed by coalition forces, they are being killed by different ethnic and religious groups.

I believe the media showing doom and gloom every day has had a negative impact on the war. I believe that are men and women over there are doing a good job trying to strengthen the Iraqi's to do the job their selves. I believe we needed more troops over there to quell some of the violence before it has escalated. I believe the media never shows anything good that has happened in Iraq, you ask them why so much negativity. I believe that most of the opposition should be refered to as mob mentality. I believe we can win, that we will win, and that defeat is not an option. I believe that if we don't finish what we are into that the insurgent will follow our military wherever they go. May God bless our troops and give our leader the wisdom to win this fight. Merry Christmas to you all!

Unjustified, and illegal action by the administration. And, for those who think we didn't shake hands on burning the towers down, Wake Up. There was no ties between Afghanistan and Iraq, and no WMD. Bush/Cheney are making their friends money. No more, no less. Too bad we're taken lives of 2,900+ US soldiers, and 50,500+ Iraqi civilians to stuff pockets.

We went in because of faulty information and under false premises. We failed in long-term planning. We failed to devote enough troops and resources (i.e. body armor). We have no clearly defined strategy to build Iraq into an independently functioning democracy.

The irony is that we as a nation have created more terrorists in the middle east because of our choices than if we would have never acted at all.

Things are FUBAR and we are almost a trillion dollars in debt because of our mistakes. Now we (America) and our president are paying for our poor choices.

The people of hurricane Katrina go unnoticed, student loans have been cut and tuition raised. . . making college less affordable, terrorists sneak across the border between Mexico and the US. . . and we're ignoring the massive genocide in Sudan NOT TO MENTION that TWO nations specializing in terrorism have gone nuclear!

I think its a waste of money, time and most of all lost of lives of innocent people. They're burning billions of dollar to support that war and up until now we see no desirable outcome. Does that war contributes to the well-being of the Iraqis or to the American people? Enough said, we all know the answer to that.
