Make rice krispy treats with green and red M&M's...it's quick & easy and the kiddies love it.

Someone else already mentioned my Krispy treats idea, so here's a new one....I got some tiny Christmas cookie cutters from Wilton...tree, angel, gingerboy, candycane, hollyleaf and a bell. Got 'em at Wallyworld, in a little boxed set. Anyhow, get some sliced cheddar or mozzerella cheese, or both, get some little holiday ritz and make cheese shapes to put on the crackers. The teachers will appreciate less sugared snacks, and most kids love cheese and crackers. If you're veggie, get soy cheese. Or slice a block of tofu thin and sprinkle cutouts w/cinnamon&sugar or sprinkles. MMMM!

Well regarding your request for cute and easy recipes there is a bar cookie called a 7 Layer cookie that is very simple but a little pricey to prepare. They are loaded with lots of sugar so you may want to serve them right before your students go home. :) You can also go to your local grocery store and pick up holiday themed cookie dough. It will be less expensive than the 7 Layer cookies and just as easy to prepare. The downside is they are not homemade which may not make a difference to a bunch of 2nd? 3rd? graders. Anyways hope this helps, happy baking!!!

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMDdZ

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

My mom always made corn flake Christmas wreaths for our parties. Make them just like you would Rice Krispie Treats, but use corn flakes and add a little green food coloring to the mix. Shape into little wreaths on some wax paper and red hots make great little holly berries.

I saw these in a magazine and made them for my Kids party. You will need a marshmallow, a strawberry and some cool whip for each one. You can also use some food coloring or the food writers pens to draw a face on santa.
Take the strawberry and place it on the cutting board hull side down, now sremove the hull and slice of a bit of the top so that it will stand up straight when you flip it over. now cut the strawberry in half horizontally. Now you've got santa's body and hat place the flat part on top of the graham craker, place the marshmallow on top and finally the last bit of strawberry secure with a toothpick you can pipe on a beard and a pom pom for his hat with some cool whip in a ziploc bag, use the food coloring or foord writer to paint on santa's face, Not only cute but healthy.

Take the pretzels in the round shape and dip in white chocolate, can tint green, decorate with tiny cinnamon candies for holly berries, or take the pretzels that are in the twist shape. Dip them in brown chocolate, dip 2 pretzel sticks per pretzel twist and attach for antlers. While still wet, put two m & m's on for eyes, and a cinnamon hot for antlers. OR---take Cornflake type of cereal, and make as if making rice krispie treats. Add green food coloring to the marshmallow and butter mixture. Instead of laying out in a pan, dip up by 1/3 cup measuring cup fulls. Lay out on waxed paper and quickly make holes in the middle to form wreaths. Add cinnamon hots around the wreaths while wet to form holly berries.
