USA proved to be wrong in Iraq war.Hundreds of innocent people are killed there every day.Vietnam,Cambodia etc are other examples.How many millions of dollars are waisted and precious human lives lost?Why can't people live in peace?

2. Geographical and political benefits
3. Oil,oil,oil,oil

Look at who is killing who. It is muslims killing other muslims because they have this ancient culture of revenge killing.
In regards to the USA having been proved wrong in Iraq, that book is still open. I wager that WMDs will be found. Iraq is a large country and we have had little real cooperation from the populace. We certainly know that Saddam did have such items because we know for a fact that he used them against Iran and against his own people. Did he really destroy them or did he get Sunni help in hiding them in say, Syria?
Besides, WMDs were only one part of the problem. Saddam was a threat in the area, had made moves toward Kuwait after Desert Storm, and routinely violated UN sanctions.

There will never be peace in the world. If you like it or don't like it, people hate the United States. Most likely because they are trying to push their Muslim religion on everybody. They think it is the only way. We have freedom of religion and it pisses them off! We will always be attacked where ever we go. Military or Civilian! People make mistakes. There were no WMDs in IRAQ but you had a ruthless dictator who was killing his own people. In the past that was acceptable to go in and take him out. Now and days its not because some people like to see others suffer and only care about them own damn selves.

War is about money and control. All of recorded history shows that the powerful destroy the weak. This will never change. Being civilized means controlling your natural instincts, sometimes people in power positions are unable to hold theirs back. And then innocent people get killed. So much for human evolution.

It would have been much better if we'd just nuked Baghdad and evicted every Muslim from the US, but we were silly enough to think that they might appreciate freedom and democracy.
Won't make the same mistake twice. Next time, it'll just be nuked sand-monkies.
