If God exists why would he need us?

I do not understand why a all powerful and all knowing God would require humans. The fact of the matter is if he does exist and he created us then we must be able to do something that he can not do.

He doesn't "need" us, he loves us.

It is not the God who needs us, it is we that need the God. Do you realize how benevolent the God is towards human, besides creating us, God takes all the trouble to keep us alive by providing all the necessities we required including food and wealth, and most ofall the right guidance towards our life. God had nothing to lose if people started to disbelieve in the God. In actual fact we are the one who are going to receive severe punishment from the God in the life after death, just simply because we don't even exist if God had not created us. What make you think we as the creation can do something that the God can't do? God can make the earth spin on its own without us feeling it. Can you do that?

Of course God needs humans, we are first form of life on earth that could, and did invent God.
so if there were no humans around the God entity would disappear.
Or maybe dolphins can invent the god idea too? I bet their god resides in the deep, and their hell is on dry land.

Wgho ever claimed that God needs us?? God needs nothing. We need Him, and in His infinite love He has given us the opportunity to find Him and to live with Him forever.

Its as simple as this: God doesn't need us, He WANTS us. Your view of God would imply that He is selfish, that man isn't needed if God can't get something out of it for Himself. Thats an incorrect theory. God simply enjoys us as His creation.

He does really need us . He is all knowing, all powerful and other all things on to absolutism. We provide an escape from "the shackles of absolutism".He actually lives in and with us. We provide experience ,He gives immortality.
