From my own experience, I have never said those words until I felt a peace about it. You have to have no doubts about saying those words to a person even if the feelings are not mutual, and you must feel comfortable saying them to a person.

It depends on the people in the relationship. Some people fall in love right away while others take months if not years to feel comfortable to say those 3 words. It may take time to feel that way towards another person. Then again some people never feel love towards their significant other until after they split up and realize what they had lost. I was lucky and found a lady that I was comfortable with and was able to tell her that I loved her a few months into our relationship. We have been happily married for 2 1/2 years now.

If you are asking this question then its too soon, only you know when the right time is. Their is a difference in "I love you" with a friend/family than to a Boy/Girl friend. It doesn't matter how long it took others because there is no 2 people alike that have the same time-line of emotions. You're only 17, do what makes you happy.

There is no time limit. Just make sure it's longer than a few months or so. It will probably take 1 or more years to see if you guys are really for each other too! Sometimes it's better to show it first and make sure he's doing the same by watching his actions. I hope this helped.

first of all, ibelieve you are both nervous and anxious.personally, i've waited as long as 3months to tell someone, the reason uncertainty.i believe when you tell someone you love them it should be felt from within not cause it sounds good.get to know this person , than you will be able to tell if it is love or if it's lust.
