Can a movie created in Windows Movie Maker be played in a dvd player?

The dvd player is connected to a tv, not a dvd player on a computer. Is there a way to make this work? I am ready to pull my hair out over this. Thanks for any help.

Use a program like Nero to convert the Movie Maker file to DVD format & actually burn it onto a blank DVD (assuming you have a DVD burner).

Once you've installed it just use the "Smart Start" feature to begin the process. Just follow the options ...they are clear & simple.
