Keloid Scars?

i have a small keloid scar from my eyebrow piercing, is theyre actually any methods that dont include surgery or doctors to remove?

Non surgical treatments for keloid scars:
Interferon therapy (drugs acting on the immune system), has been reported as effective in reducing keloid scarring however it does have significant side effects. Examples are toxicity, flu like symptoms, depression, nausea and vomiting.
Prolonged compression of scar tissue can theoretically soften and break up keloid scars, however the practicality of this option depends on the location of the keloid. Other non-surgical interventions that are currently being tried with varying results include antihistamines, vitamins, nitrogen mustard, Verapamil, retinoic acids.

The best initial treatment is to inject long-acting cortisone (steroid) into the keloid once a month. After several injections with cortisone, the keloid usually becomes less noticeable and flattens in three to six month's time.

Keloids may be reduced in size by freezing (cryotherapy), external pressure, corticosteroid injections, laser treatments, radiation, or surgical removal. It is not unusual for keloids to reappear (sometimes larger than before) after they have been removed.

Are you sure it's a Keliod? alot of the time it's just garbage backed up in the ole of the piercing. If you are prone to Keliods (you have others on your body) than it probably is a keliod. If not, try crushing up some asprin, and add some water and make it into a paste and put that on the area. If it is just a raised scar, this should reduce the size of it. I don't know why it work, but it does.

You could seek laser treatments but it may keep growing which keloids have a habit of doing. Talk to a dermatologist about it.
