Jesse Jackson is an opportunist who prays upon the sympathies people have for the people he pretends to represent.
Jesse Jackson is an opportunist; He was at the scene when a great American, Martin Luther King, was shot and killed. He immediately saw his chance for immediate fame and dipped his hands in the blood and rubbed it on his shirt. He went and addressed the media, making himself the subject, and hasn't stopped since. As far as I know he has never been ordained as an actual "Reverend".
Jackson spends most of his time showing up at times of racial tension to claim racism. He then leans on any organization he can blaim to gain financially from the fact that the media will listen to him and he can blame anyone who refuses to "pay up".
Jackson refuses financial transparency, and will not give up where exactly all the money goes. My speculation: HIM
Other figures who play the same game as Jesse: Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan

I think he is a great man that has done a lot for minorities. He rallies behind causes that are often forgotten about and brings hope. In Chicago, he organized over 10,000 black volunteers who single handledly donated more than 15 full semi trucks of goods to Katrina victims. Lets not forget about the POWs he single handledly freed from enemy control in the 80s. Its about time he got some respect. Everyone makes mistakes that doesnt change what he has done.

Oh Boy, I feel he tries to do good. But C'mon. He's really in it to exploiting black people, and Making money off of them. There are areas I feel would be more important for him to focus on. Like stop sticking up for criminals who get a beating from the cops & not just white cops either. All cops.
He should spend all his time developing an educational program for innercity kids. He should go into inner citites and stop telling everyone what is wrong (They already know what's wrong), But he needs to tell them what he's going to do to fix the problem. (he doesn't do that). You see he tells them what is wrong to get acceptence and agreement. Hell.. for that matters I could the same thing. He only give ideas and performs no action then he walks away to the next city.
I don't think Blacks need a speaker for them. Blacks are becoming more educated and well diversed. They still have a problem committing more crimes than any other race. Which is sad considering they are no longer the Majority Minority. Hispanics are the Minorities now.
Hispanics continue to be the largest minority group at 42.7 million. With a 3.3 percent increase in population from July 1, 2004, to July 1, 2005, they are the fastest-growing group. The second largest minority group was blacks (yet they more than double the hispanics in crimes)
At yearend 2005 there were 3,145 black male sentenced prison inmates per 100,000 black males in the United States, compared to 1,244 Hispanic male inmates per 100,000 Hispanic males and 471 white male inmates per 100,000 white males

He's a bigot and extortionist of the first caliber. He has gotten rich keeping black people down and feeding of of fear of years. I mean come on, he use the money from his foundation to move his mistress and love-child across the country and buy the a house and car. This is money people sent him to help the "oppression" of blacks, not to hide his shack-up.
And what was said about it? Nothing, because Mr. Jackson has the political power to threaten any news organization that dared to expose his theft and hiding of a sin. This is just the most obvious of his misdeeds over the years. In comparison, all Jim Bakker did was buy a yacht with church money and put it in his name, even though it was used for church business, he went to the pen and had his name and reputation drug through the mud. That's fair?
I say the sooner that American Blacks tell Mr. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton to sit down and shut up, the sooner they can climb out of what little oppression they still feel.

He is a man which walked with Martin Luther King, and still to this day believes in unity between all races. Concequently he started the Rainbow Coalition.. which means all people .. in all ethnicities united.. anyone against that would just be hypocritical towards the meaning of America. Though I don’t necessarily believe in his personal life, I do believe in ending racism, and the first step is to educate, unite and applaud the differences in all races.

He is definitely a leader. Whether people agree with his views or not, the man has devoted his life to furthering the civil rights cause. I don't think you can fault the man for standing up and getting involved....more people should do that. I don't necessarily agree with him on issues, but I respect him.

He was directly involved in the murder of Martin Luther King. He knew as long as MLK was still alive he would be in the back seat and never get the chicks, or the big bucks he knew he could get from extortion. He is a crook.

I think he's a world class hypocrit with a loose screw or two. Especially since the "Hymietown" remarks. He's shown his true beliefs. Personally, I think James Earl Ray shot the wrong guy.
