Since you have kids, you should go to Mars 2112. It is fantastic for all ages. You go through a simulator upon entrance pretending to go to mars and when the doors open on the other side, its another world. There are martians, and the decor is awesome. Your kids will have a great time. And it is within walking distance to the tree where you can then go ice skating! One tip though, they dont take reservations, so go early for dinner so you dont have to wait too long!

maloney and porticelli 52nd i think look it up on the net but food is great not super expensive and really close to the tree
