Peppermint tea is good for bloating but a good selection of fruit is ideal for constipation. Remember water is good for everything so drink plenty of water too. Also cut right down on fatty food as it is hard to digest and make matters worse. Lots of light meals are best.

Peppermint tea is good to take to help wind. Movicol is good for constipation, it is very gentle and doesn't cause the pain you often get when taking a laxative. You can get it from your pharmacy about £14 but well worth it.

I know EXACTLY how you feel, was in same sorry state a couple of months ago. Let me tell you if it is this bad you can forget peppermint tea, you can forget lactulose syrup, or any other remedy the fibbing nurses and doctors tell you EXCEPT for one - suppository. All you have to do is hang onto it (which actually takes a bit of concentration!) for 20 mins and bingo!

if u had surgery reguarding ur stomach intestines or any other internal organ i'd call the doctor if ur surgery had to do with broken bones and getting metal put into ur body i would recommend some stool softners for the constipation and some peppermint tea for the bloating but in all honesty i would highly recommend talking to ur doctor who did the surgery

Drink Senna tea right before bed. When you wake up in the morning you will have to go. Its a natural substance and can be found in any health food store and even in some grocery stores.

If the op had anything to do with your digestive system, ask your doctor. If not, try Colax. It is not a laxative (as they do no good to you whatsoever) but it is a regulator with Aloe Vera. Drink Plenty of Water. Ask your Doctor also about Colonic Irrigation, as That will help you immensely

Peppermint tea is good for the stomach, but ask your Dr., that's why they make the big money! Or at least, ask or call a pharmasist.
